DJ Luna-C began her musical career at 16 as a singer-songwriter in the clubs of Miami. After a quick spin through the coffee house and club scene, she caught the attention of a high school student who had recently been commissioned to do a film for the State Educational Board of Florida.

He asked her to compose an original score consisting of orchestral themes, pop music, and of course techno. The film was released in 1996, and the music from Seven Minutes in Heaven was an instant success.

She subsequently released the acoustic album Leaves of December

Luna-C moved to Brevard, NC with her family, and continued her music, missing the club music of South Beach. She frequented the clubs in the Asheville area, but it was not until her move to Greensboro that she became interested in being a DJ.

She answered an open ad in a newspaper and got a job at a small club. Having had studio, professional voice over, and theater experience, she quickly learned the tools of the trade. Having been a music major in college, she had an almost uncanny ability to feel beats and mix music.

After a year of work paying her dues, Luna-C took her talent to Dizzy G's and asked for a chance to give Greensboro what it has always needed-- it's own Gothic Industrial Club.

She is happily working Friday nights pumping out everything from the pretty dark wave of the 80's to the hard-core industrial sound of the Gothic scene and has plans to become a mobile DJ and begin other Gothic projects in the Piedmont Triad Area.
